Captured after a Friday morning swim with my Mermaid crew, this is the kind of view that makes you pause before heading home.
Coffee in hand, I stopped to watch the ocean stretching towards Point Lonsdale — the soft morning light catching the waves, the mist hanging low over the water and layer upon layer of movement rolling towards shore.
I loved the simplicity of the scene. The ocean doing what it does, framed by a little foreground foliage, with the changing light creating subtle shifts of blue, silver and warm gold.
It's a familiar view, but one I never seem to tire of.
A quiet reminder that sometimes a swim, a warm coffee and a few minutes looking out to sea are all you need.
