Shot at the Ocean Grove boat ramp — pelicans hang around there most days, but this one gave me the pose. Head up, feathers a bit ruffled, eyes on something out past the frame.

I love the detail you get this close — the texture in the feathers, the pink of the beak, that yellow eye that gives him so much character. Not the prettiest bird in the traditional sense, but there's a lot going on in that face.

Size Guide

All prints are available in three sizes: A3, A2 and A1.

Every print includes a white border, which gives it that clean, gallery-style finish and helps the image sit well within the frame.

The border is part of the overall print size, not added on top of it. So if you order an A2 print, the total paper size — border included — is A2, with the image itself sitting slightly smaller inside that.

The border width increases with print size, so the proportions always feel balanced rather than skinny or overdone:


A3 — 2cm border
A2 — 4cm border
A1 — 5cm border
