There are some mornings when everything seems to happen at exactly the right moment.

In summer, the sun rises so quickly over the water at Ocean Grove and I love being in the ocean watching the first light spill across the horizon while the waves move around you.

On this morning as the sun emerged to say hello two birds flew into the frame almost on cue.

It's a simple photograph, but for me it's about that feeling of being there when something unexpectedly comes together. A fleeting little bit of magic that you can't plan or recreate.

Size Guide

All prints are available in three sizes: A3, A2 and A1.

Every print includes a white border, which gives it that clean, gallery-style finish and helps the image sit well within the frame.

The border is part of the overall print size, not added on top of it. So if you order an A2 print, the total paper size — border included — is A2, with the image itself sitting slightly smaller inside that.

The border width increases with print size, so the proportions always feel balanced rather than skinny or overdone:


A3 — 2cm border
A2 — 4cm border
A1 — 5cm border
